I’m not quite sure when OnD started “renting”,”giving” the STB out. But I’m sure the 1 year contract is either up or nearly. Has anyone cancelled thier contract if so did they (OnD)want the stb back or did you manage to keep it?
At 4.15 pm this afternoon my 4mb connection was down below 1mb … which okay I understand. Yet over five hours later and it’s only at just under 2 mb when I do normally get just under 4 when I’m not at under 1 (if you’re still with me!).
Is there some interim new level where you still don’t get the speed you hoped you’d get?
Or do Virgin just hate me since I upgraded to 4?

I live in Coventry and want to get VM BB, but the only lines in my street are analogue, and I understand they’re being turned off soon?
Could I ring VM and see if theres any plans for me to recieve their digital services? Or will they not know?

As ive tried there online update on there site and it does not do anything.

Is there any other broadband i can have insteed of ntl but im on the ntl phone line so dont no if there is?

I asked in a previous post about picture format on Virgin + box. I explained to everyone that I had my picture on 720P Wide and the picture to me looked like it was in 4:3 stretched. For example, if I watch a game of football from the bbc, the bbc logo and team names are left of centre. If I go to basically any channel the logos are left of centre. I cannot get this changed, is this the way it is supposed to be on virgin as sky wasnt like this or is it a HDMI issue. Also when I switch to BBC HD there is no sound, but if I turn the amp on the sound the comes through the amp, my box is no longer connected to the amp and I dont get sound on BBC HD, but the first few days I did get sound.

When I order the TV Drive do I have to ask specifically for a HDMI cable or do they provide them automatically? If I don’t yet have a HD-ready tv when they install the TV Drive will they leave me the cable?

the blueyonder newsgroups dont have a certain group i would like is their away i can ask for it to be mate available? maybe if i do and some others they might get it.
Can I just ask if on ntl if when a channel is ’service off-air’ does it go onto Front Row previews? or does it go onto that Frontrow thing when it says ‘There are 30 movies everyday on Front Row’ then ‘To find out whats on watch the Front Row guide or press your On Demand button’ it does this on Telewest so i’m just eondering if it is the same with ntl?
