I’m doing some background work on VoD and IPTV and wonder if anyone can provide me with some screen shots/pictures of Virgin’s Catch-Up and VoD system – basically the front pages from the main menu’s and the screen shot when you go to play something back.
Anyone’s help would be very much appreciated 
In July this year i had virgin media installed after being told of its ‘amazing‘ Music OD offering says a virgin sales person that came to my door.He siad i could get all my faviouite bands on demand so i named him

he says yeah there all on there i have virgin tv installed only to realise that non of these artists are there but what i dont understand is when it was ntl in 2006 (when i prevously had ntl)i can remember buying a video even have the bill to proove it and it isnt there anymore HOWEVER my friend who is on the L pack gets all these artist at a small fee basicly what am askin is SHOULD I DOWNGRADE MY PACKAGE TO GET BETTER MUSIC after all it was one of my only reasons for joining or can i complain(ask) virgin to see what happens from there maybe a petition as well as this theres no artic monkeys so am not happy atm the sales man told lies tut tut

Is it possible to get in touch with the Virgin VOD team to report an error in the VOD section?
The problem is the wrong programme plays when I select the one I want. It is obviously just down to human error – a tech has mislabled a file, or linked it wrongly…
The call centre in India have no clue and just take me through a list of stupid fault questions that have no relevance to my enquiry.
The last guy I spoke to just blatently lied and said, “Yes, we are aware of the error with this programme”, without even asking me what the programme was!
I went through this with them last year and just gave up after wasting an hour of my time.
You would have thought they would want to know when the wrong programme is playing out! Surely they could get in trouble because of rights issues?

I’ve been with virgin media for two years now, my boyfriend rang up to set up a direct debit a few weeks back and they offered us a broadband upgrade for £3.50. We took them up on the offer and everything has been fine until today.
We got our bill this morning and they’d overcharged us. We have a 3 for £30 deal and were supposed to be paying an extra £3.50 on top of that. Instead they’ve changed our deal completely so that the whole thing adds up to £47. When we rang up they said theres nothing they can do, so we asked to be put through to the cancellation department and they said we couldn’t cancel because they’ve just signed us up to another 12 month contract.
They won’t listen to us at all now and keep insisting that this is the way it has got to stay for at least 12 months.
Ive arranged a move with virgin, im currently on a tv/phone/bb for £20 deal but when i changed address i changed my package to something like L tv and L bb for £32
can i change my mind ?

I’ve just got my first digital terrestial box (Grundig 1500), everything works perfectly except 3 channels are missing, Sky News, Sky Sports News and UK History. I’ve gone through the set up a few times but it never finds these channels.
I’m new to dtv so if anyone can explain why i can’t get these channels i’d be very grateful. By the way i’m in edinburgh if thats any help.

there’s been nowt said for weeks now about xitvd boxes so can we keep them now, or are thay going to try and charge us for them? i know no one wiil pay for old boxes, when you will be able to buy one next year for under 29 gbs. but it’s it’s gone so quite and that usually means theres a shock coming.

Hi everyone, sorry if this same problem has been described elsewhere but I need some advice.
When I was at uni I got ITV Digital and since then I have moved back home in June. The address I registered with ITV Digital was my address I was living at whilst at Uni. Now that im back at home I wont recieve any letters asking for my box back and im worried about being black listed. I know the contract says we are supposed to keep ITV Digital updated with our latest address but how would this be possible as they have gone out of business.
Im perfectly willing to return my box but who do I get in touch with to tell them that my address has changed since ITVD went bust. Also how do I know that they accurately cross my name of the list when the box is collected, they could get confused due to the change in my address etc. Will we get a receipt of some sort? I dont want them to pass on bad info to the credit agencies without my knowledge.
I know its not a big issue but I need my mind to be put at ease. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi All,
I really want to try and get hold of a Grundig GDT1500 before Christmas but all the places I have tried have sold out. I tried Dixons (in Croydon and online), Curries (the same), Index, DigitalBoxShop (not sure what one they sell, there’s a picture of the GDT1000, but it’s marked GDT1000/1500?).
Any ideas would be really appreciated. Thanks
