I’ve got nothing on Catch-Up TV since 4am yesterday. Anyone else?

I’m not sure how I can get TV where I live. Reception via aerial is bad, Virgin website says my road isn’t cabled, I could get Tiscali TV as I already use their broadband, but from what everyone is saying, it sounds like they may suspend the service soon, so I am a bit reluctant to go with them.

What options have I got? I am fairly ignorant on these issues so there may be an obvious solution which I don’t know about. thanks for your help.

I am interested in this DTT box, does anybody have one? If so is it any good, and can you browse the net whilst watching or hearing the TV? Is the programme guide any better than the standard?
Also, do any boxes offer 14:9 in addition to 16:9 and 4:3?

After many arguments over running cable around the house to get sky in my room i decided to just get freeview!

i got the nokia box from dixons website!

it works perfect! i pick up all channels using an indoor one for all aerial. (im in south east london).

im quite glad i have got it! nice addition to my bedroom.

a few questions:

where u go to see your signal strength i have a grey box! i take it that means no signal as it should be green, orange or red. But i have all the channels and have had no breakup Yet on any of them! (had it for 2 days so far) so i dont really understand that.

also its got the old ONdigital green search and scan banners etc will this be changing?

any news on new channels being added except for ones like ftn and uktv?

yo i was just wondering if anyone had a goodmans dtt box from index catalogue shop and i wondered what they thought of it

I was wondering if there was anyone out there at all that has got DTT that doesn’t glitch now and then, I just hate that shrieking noise when that happens… and if it is perfect for you, have you had your airial upgraded?

I have a philips wide screen pro logic tv not sure of the model
my prob is that the on screen clock shows the wrong time any one got any ideas how to cure it
is there a back up battery as in a PC (its just over a year old)
is there a hidden menu where I can reset it

Ps I have emailed philips with out a reply yet

not a big prob but a bit anoying anyway
