Anyone agree?
I always get some crappy error message
Today’s is 1092, and when it does work it wants me to ring Virgin as it’s managed to lose the PIN!
In the error sheet it has error 165 “fail to get connection params” with STB IP unavailable and CA IPPV Status ‘unknown’ with card status ‘waiting’.
Is there a new adult “Late Night” on demand selction?
Is it only available at night?
Thanks
I’m about to get a TV/phone/broadband package from Virgin and am also considering getting TV choice on demand.
One of the things I’m wondering is whether its possible to record programmes from TV choice, either to DVD or VHS?
Do they do it monthly or is it just an as and when kind of thing?
I have watched the first 11 (I think) episodes of The West Wing as I never saw it originally and thought it was fantastic. Im just waiting now to see the rest of the first season.
I would just like to add that I think OD is fantastic and have never had a problem with it. However I would like to offer 2 suggestions to be ignoredMulti speed fast forward like we have for recorded content on V+
The ability to start watching at a certain point by typing in the time, eg. 4:25
I just got Virgin installed today at it seems that the OD service seems to have a “temporary” probably quite frequently.
In VM area’s why don’t they also provide a standalone VoD service for people who want just a VoD service if they have Sky HD for example like we do?
This way, VM get into Sky homes and enable their presence before Sky get’s their own service up and running? It would also allow them to market more efficiently their TV/Broadband services and other services as they come along into our household and although we’d be using two separate boxes we could handle the switching back n forth.
It’s certainly something we’d be interested in if the price was right – £10 p/month for example – let’s face it the content is there and it’s doing nothing in our household so why not allow us access to this service on it’s own and do one over Sky? It would be a WIN WIN situation for VM as by the time Sky’s service arrives they should have a bigger library and be making £10 extra every month per household that takes the service.
Should have said BBC IPLAYER in title – sorry!
Im an Xl subscriber, is it free to use it the iplayer on the tv?
I was going to use the iplayer this evening to catch up on Heroes from last week before watching this evenings episode but It wasn’t listed, however it was on the online version so I watched it from there instead.
Todays my first day with Virgin so I’m not that clued up yet as to how it all works, so do we get the full version of the iplayer or a version thats cut back for VM?
Sins part 2 was on BBC 1 last night wasn’t it or am I going mad?
I can’t find it on catch up.
