just put on itv digital and i am only recieving fta all others black screen. Have they pulled the plug.
ITV Digital could be worth as little as £10m, analysts said last night, as the disastrous pay-TV service was put up for sale.
Industry sources also suggested that the platform now has only 750,000 subscribers, a combination of the numbers that have cancelled their service in recent weeks and possible over-statement of the original customer figures.
The last reported subscriber numbers for ITV Digital was 1.26 million. However, up to 4,000 subscribers a day are now leaving the business – an annualised churn rate of 100 per cent.
I’m just curious.
My household is all Virgin Media Broadband and has been for over a year, but we’ll be leaving the very second our contract allows us.
Awful, awful company. Nearly as bad as AOL. We’re going to give one of the smaller ISPs like TalkTalk or Freeserve a try and hope they’ll be better.
VM gives me too many errors loading pages, too many issues with my email inbox and is just an all round pain in the neck.
Biggest mistake I made encouraging the family to use it.
I had 20meg virgin media bb supposedly, got fedup paying for premium support to be told press start etc,
switched to o2, and i can’t believe the difference, its faster! and the customer support is all UK based, with english as the first language!
best decision i ever made
Hi
My service with VM BB was disconnected on 29th March (I rang them end of Feb to disconnect me) and yet they took the £25 DD payment on 20th March. Will I be entitiled to a refund of sorts?
Many thanks.
Yes I am with sky now and paying £10 and getting 14mb stable connection every single day and every single minute
since the change over from telewest the service has give me 3mb every evening for 37 quid what a joke.
thanx telewest, no thanks virgin
you might want to consider leaving soon
well it’s done!!
i’m syncing at 15Mb down and 768Kb up. i’m also uncapped and running from adsl2+ and fastpath as confirmed by tier 3 support yesterday. i have download speeds just short of 16Mb when testing with speedtest.net (i know it’s not the best testing utility)
£10p/m for this is certainly better than the £14.99-£17.99 virgin were charging for 2Mb!!! – OK it’s now £10 but it’s still only 2Mb!!
come on virgin… pull your finger out.

I’m due to have my V+ box fitted on Wednesday, have VM ran out of boxes?
I have been waiting 4 weeks as this was the 1st installation date they had avaliable, will be disapointed if I have to wait any further.
Dear all,
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this problem:
We have a Pace STB; not sure of the model but it’s crap enough to not have auxillary speaker sockets on the back. Instead, we have the VCR tuned to the STB and run the auxillary sound cables from the VCR to the hi-fi.
On a couple of occasions now, the sound has completely cut out on one side; last night it was the left. Previously, we’ve found that the sound is balanced unequally, so the right speakers may be louder than the left or vice versa.
We checked the speaker wires and found them to be okay and switched “functions” on the hi-fi: radio, CD; fine. We changed channels on the VCR and similarly, the sound was fine and balanced on channels 1-5. So the problem was identified as being a STB one.
A simple reboot of the STB cured the problem so it’s more a minor niggle but a niggle nonetheless. I just wondered if anyone else had this problem, if it’s a known problem with a particular STB etc.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
