Cable for Leicestershire! Virgin Media TV and Phone

Does anyone have ANY information regarding Leicestershire getting cable?
I doubt any of you will know this place but I live in a village between Market Harborough and Leicester which does not have cable at the moment..
Any information on when we might be getting cable here would be very appreciated. (I really need a low ping for Quake 3)
