Just recorded 8 hours of TV and the damn menu (the now/next menu) is on the recording!!
Is this a common problem and is there any way around it? Should i have set something to make it go off after Xseconds?
What a disapointment as the DVD recording is unwatchable.

I really like the 701/702 new channels (that’s what they are surely), but during the worldcup the yellow menu blended into the yellow background on the screens, but during Wmbledon it sticks out like a sore thumb, once you go to one of these channesl will it go away after a while, or can you press something to get rid of it (some button combination)?
I thought it might be possible on other digital platforms but what about DTT. I have the pioneer box BTW. also are there going to be any updates to th MHEG to sort this out?
Cheers
Chris

To install the new BBC channel slots (including BBC 4) ahead of launch next Monday (and March 2nd).
Also, to pick up on the movement of BBC parliament (to 40 odd) and ITV+ text (for the moment to 801).

Hi
I have just had a V+ box installed and am on the whole pretty happy with it. However the engineer who put it in left the RF output channel to 52 which is right on top of a DTT mux, so I the V+ picture is poor through RF (I use it to watch in the kitchen) and my freeview box in the bedroom is missing some channels. I would have thought that in Birmingham many people would have a problem like this, why not set them all to channel 60 for example?
Anyway – How do I get to the engineers menu when it boots up? I have tried allsorts of key combinations but no luck. I cant face having half a day off work to wait for an engineer to come and do it for me !
Thanks

Have a banner across the bottom of my screen telling me to press yellow for On Demand. Can’t get rid of it. Also, when I go to any menu screen or on screen info page it’s really faded – kind of half transparancy not solid black.
Not changed any settings. Any ideas?

Found some channels called “SM Prem HiD” and “SM Prem 2 HiD” in the engineers menu channel provisioning (Page 15).
Could it be Sky Movies HD?
