Make your mind up iPlayer! Virgin Media TV On Demand

Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

In between Cbeebies and whatever reality show is hogging the schedule, I don’t get too much chance to watch TV.
A few weeks back I thought I would see what was on iPlayer and noticed that when I searched for “Stephen Fry’s America” it had all the previous episodes with something that said 56 days left. Virtually the same as was on the web.
Perfect for my paternity leave I thought.
Now I look and we seem to be back on a 7 day catch up and all the stuff I never bothered with has disappeared.

Any ideas what happened?

Mind of its own when it comes to recording! Virgin Media TV and Phone

Friday, February 20th, 2009

Hi all,

I had Lost episodes 1-3 down to tape on their respective channels. Went to look this morning to see if they had taped, and they hadn’t!

This is a regular occourance with my TV Drive box (my second box in a month now by the way).

Does anyone else get this? Everything except the recording which is a key feature is fine. Sky may be returning soon!

Pressing RED on BBC News24 (610) loads the BBC One Bridge. However, no signs of a multiscreen. Sounds like its coming soon though.

I think it’s high time Buzzcocks followed Have I Got News For You and Dragon’s Den to switch to the bright lights of BBC One. Discuss.

Was this yet another example of a foul up by Mark Thompsons insistence of in programme trails?

Simon held up a video or book and made a joke but the sound was so viewers missed the gag…
