Anyone agree?
I always get some crappy error message
Today’s is 1092, and when it does work it wants me to ring Virgin as it’s managed to lose the PIN!
In the error sheet it has error 165 “fail to get connection params” with STB IP unavailable and CA IPPV Status ‘unknown’ with card status ‘waiting’.

When ever I try to access BBCi text from any of the BBC channels (except News24) I always get a “This service is currently unavailable due to technical difficulties.” message when I select an item from the blue button menu on the BBCi bar.
Is this a regional thing or a box problem?

Mainly for footy fans.
I have access to three ITV stations HTV West west country and Central South
HTV west only had the notts county goal
central south had just the results
West country just had pictures of the Torquay pitch.
Turning to ITV2 Sport goal rush I thought they would have had access to to show some footy action .Alas no
Comments any one about what your local ITV station

People on here were moaning about how crap ITV Digital was and how they were pleased Freeview was coming along… Now Freeviews line up has ONLY JUST been announced, they are slagging it off already.
Why dont these people just shut up and wait until you see what its like.
Why would they provide premium subscription channels in a FREE line up? You were all VERY aware that Freeview would infact be FREE and were advised that if you wanted a subscription service, you would have to go elsewhere!

Hell,
We criticised OnDig and ITVd but give me the original OnD lineup – and I’d like it better than the Freeview menu.
Final mourning comments – add them here – what did you like about the old services.

Has ITV Digital done anything except change it’s name? This huge “rebrand” was nothing more than changing to ITV Select and tweaking a few things here and there. For example, I ordered an ITV Active box last week. When it came, the only thing that reminded me that it was, in fact, ITV Active, was the coverslip over an ONnet cardboard box. When I opened it up, everything inside (the manual, the box itself, the graphics) said that it was ONnet. What was the point in the rebrand if they still refer to everything as ONdigital? They might as well of left it alone, it’s taken them long enough to make us remember it actually is ITV Digital.

Just to tell you a funny story regarding the ITV Digital customer services (it wasn’t funny at the time)
I had a strange item on my credit card bill recently, mentioning that I have brought an ITV Select Film in November. The film was Scary Movie (good film). Here is where the strange explanation starts to emerge.
1. On the day of the ITV Select film apparently being ordered, I wasn’t in the house and I live on my own
2. I already brought Scary Movie on DVD in October, so why do I want to watch it on ITV Select
3. The phone cable from the ITV Select to the phone socket isn’t connected!
4. How do I order an ITV Select film!
5. The customer service person asked whether I have anyone else who could order the ITV Select film. I said I live on my own. Then he said did I have a break in. Why would anyone break into a house and then order an ITV Select film! He said that I can’t get a refund so I get credited with a free ITV Select film which I don’t want, as I have already go Sky Digital as well, (I pay a special price because I work at Tesco)
When my 1 year contract ends in March 2002, I will say one thing, Bye Bye ITV Digital. I now want a Sky+ System!

I bought an on digital box for my parents (they can’t be bothered with the dish idea) and for 3 months running I have had to telephone and ask for the magazine. Does anyone else have the same problem. I have on digital myself (as well as sky digital) and receive my magazine yesterday 11 days late.
I told On Digital today to try and offer a better standard of service, otherwise i’ll switch my parents to sky when the 12 months is up. They promised that they would “Do” something about the magazine problem.
Also I had a message on my answering machine last month saying “Hi it’s On Digital here can you call us immediately about the digital service at your parents address” (I am the contact my parents don’t understand these things). I called them back an hour later and all they could say was “We don’t know why we wanted to speak to you – there is a call record of telephoning you at 3pm but I don’t know why”.
Does anyone at On Digital know what they are doing. Is is most certainly an inferior service to Sky
