VOD not been working in Aylesbury area since Monday, 151 say techy guys are on the case and should be fixed soon.

I only have programming up to midday yesterday (Saturday). Two reboots and nothing.

Is anyone else having problems?

Is anybody else having problems at the moment accessing Virgin’s catch up service? I can select the on demand menu, then catch up TV, but any option after that (eg all channels, a to z), nothing is happening… BBC iPlayer is similarly dead when I try to access it through a BBC channel via the red button.

Not seen any other posts so maybe just me Was working fine just the other day.

Is this showing up anywhere else cos it ain’t showing up here in Belfast.

My v+ has been playing up recently so shows have failed.
I went on i player on friday no holy blue then today no doctor who.
I am really annoyed on this and will quit virgin if it carries on.

Having recorded the tennis, instead of the final episode of Robin Hood because of the BBC messing about with the schedules on Saturday, I hoped to find it on VoD but they’ve only got 12 episodes. Not sure if it’s the BBC’s fault or Virgin’s.

Okay, weirdest thing.

I got it installed like a week ago, and everything was perfecto until yesterday. Then whenever I select an on demand program to watch, it like meshes with the on demand previews and has a horrid fuzzy noise. Like the previews are trying to play over the on demand. It is so weird.

It is the same for Music and TV, not tried the others.

Any suggestions?

I got a new Panasonic LZD800 and was looking forward to my one HD channel but couldn’t change to HDMI. It turned out that my old silver Telewest box had HDMI problems so they replaced it yesterday with a black V+ box.

On a side note I’ve spoken to three Virgin people on the phone and one Virgin engineer and by and large I’ve been pleased with the customer service.

My BBC HD looks lovely but I can’t access any on demand services. The chap I spoke to yesterday said that it was because it is a new box. Mind you he did say that it needed an overnight update and then a second later he suggested that I turned it off at the plug overnight. I pointed out the contradiction and he said that I’d better leave it on!

It’s still not working this morning. I’m at work now so there is no point phoning Virgin until I get home tonight.

Does anyone know how on demand works? Am I likely to need yet another box or is this really because it takes a while to get it working on a new box?

Any advice appreciated.

I’ve been trying to access my on demand service. But virgin media says that i am not a subscriber to access on demand.

But i’ve been able to access it before… whats up?

I haven’t changed packages or anything!

This is the second time this week I have went to watch something on demand and it isn’t working, getting a bit fed up with it now

what makes me laugh is it says to call 151 from your virgin media phone, but also the phone has not been working tongiht the same as Tuesday night.
