On Thursday I will be moving over to SkyD. I have already given my second ITVD box to my Nana and I am pleased that it will still be used. The original box will be kept for downstairs still hooked up alongside Sky. But I now feel it time to show my frustration…with you lot!
There are many reasons for having such forums as this the main one is spreading rumours although I would much prefer to say news and good news at that. But no news is good news and this must be why we see so much bad news on these forums about ITV and how it is going to collapse soon, a few said that in November and it is still trodding along.
Never before have I seen so many complaints about one company, my only problem with ITVD is that the subscription is far to high at £37 and I don’t even have SkyMoviemax, that is the reason behind the move to sky, also the extra music channels.
My picture is fine on every channel in fact i’ll be suprised if it is any better on sky, my Nokia box freezes a bit but that is not ITV problem but the manufacturer who they rely on to provide for them.
Now who posted “Do this now” well be sensible do you really think that when JimmyO in the ITVD cs centre gets a phone call of you they are going to run into the middle of a board meeting with all ITV top dogs present and start shouting this is how we will fix ITVDigital and send Lord Murdoch to hell, then you might be suprised at me saying it won’t happen.
Now my biggest problem is with those who complain saying
“My good god my life can’t continue without Mux1234 working properly and giving the best ouput possible.” Unless you are a technician in this field you probably know jack all so be a bit more creative.
Now I am not going to shy away and say I have never complained about ITV because I know some lifeless so and so will trudge through the anals of Rome to find a post of mine complaining. I have had my aproblems but I have simply e-mailed ITVD and kept someone in their job of responding to such crappy e-mails and have never once not been stisfied with their response.
My final shout is at those who have this wish to see ITVD go down the drain, well I hope the company you work for or the company that puts bread on your table goes bust, because anyone who wishes this upon any one never mind a company that is british based and the only on brave enough to have a go deserves a pat on the back whatever the out come.
Remember they didn’t beat Everest at first attempt.
They didn’t blow bin Laden away on the first wave of attacks.
Just put it into context.
Auvoir for now.
ps Lets hope one day I dumped Sky and return to DTT who ever runs it. I would have much rather stayed with ITVD than go to a company run by the decendent of someone hand picked by her majesties finest courts.
