be on The community channel rather than Digital Spy, so we don’t have to read all this stupid nonsense?
This is the only thing preventing me in purchasing a freeview stb/adaptor.
It HAS to have S-video out, but there aren’t any. WHY?
Not just for SVHS owners but as a second option to RGB, which is usually taken up on the TV by the DVD player.
I know the Pace adaptor does but it’s no good to me as I don’t want to split the incoming aeriel signal and I need two scarts, one to go to the SVHS vcr and the other to the TV.
I’ve had a look at all the current range (I think) and although most have two scarts and aeriel loopthrough, NONE have S-video out through the SCART.
Anybody know any different?
Guys
Anyone got a Pioneer box that’s not working and would like to donate it for spares?
Cheers

The media are trying to convert everyone to digital TV but do you want it?
Lots and lots of 3rd rate channels and inferior pictures (when compared to a good analogue signal)
I couldn’t care less
What I don’t want is to have analogue taken away and handed something worse.
I feel the same about DAB by the way
anyone agree?
Hi all, anyone want to buy a second set top box?
You can have my ITV Card as well, includes all the latest Pay Channels!
On Sale From Tommorow at 12am or 7am depending on certain events.
we will start the bidding at £199!
Well who would, under present conditions. What is really left of any use to anybody. I do believe that ITVD has gone beyond the point of no return. If somebody bought it today they have one hell of a struggle to gain the confidence of subscribers back and as each day passes this hopeless task looks further and further away, and for a me and many others Sky or cable looks nearer and nearer

There’ve been many reports recently both on this site and elsewhere in the media that if the administrators can’t agree a deal with the Football League in the next few days, they will attempt to sell the business as a going concern.
But how can they do this, without the MUX licences? Are they transferable? Even if they were to sell the business to Carlton and/or Granada, wouldn’t the MUX licences remain with ITV Digital (and presumably lapse when the company was wound up)?
Or are they hoping that the Government would be amenable to granting new MUX licences to the buyer without an auction?
Hi there,
After giving ITV Digital another chance to give me a service they failed to do that. I ordered my box on Friday and they confirmed that I will have the box on Monday on a all day call, this I agreed to do, gave them bank DD details and it was all set. After waiting in for a painfully long day 08.00-20.00 I decided to call the customer service helpline number (0870 600 9696), I explained that the box had not yet been delivered. The operator told me that it can take upto 21.00 as they were running late in getting the boxes delivered. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and agreed to wait for another hour as I had no reason to disbelive her.
To my amazment at 21.30 no box was still here. I called the customer service number again and advised the lady who anwsered. I told her what had happened and she put me on hold. She came back and said that they may be delivering in the box in the morning. I advised her that I had been waiting in for more that 13 hours for this box that had not turned up and was not going to wait another 13 hours. I told her that I wished to cancel and she said that I should not accept the box from the driver (if he should show!!).
She asked me if I was sure that I wanted to cancel my subscription (that had not begun with them yet), I advised yes.
It amazies me that ITV Digital can turn customers away without a fight. I thought that they may have waived the £25 activation fee, but no such luck. ITV Digital need the custom at the moment and the last thing they need to be doing is to promise the box to be delivered when they can`t promise that. As a loyal customer for over 12 months and with a good payment history, it`s customers like me and you that they need.
Have you had any problems with them like this????
I was talking to a senior sales rep in a very well known High St retail outlet this weekend concerning ITV Digital boxes. He was saying that monthly contract boxes are now almost a thing of the past on the High St. Nearly, if not all large retail outlets will only be offering a pre-paid ITV digi box from now on. He went on to say that ITV want it this way so as to maintain cash liquidity. Thing is, if they do go toes up, the average Joe in the street can kiss goodbye to their hard earned cash. You can still get the monthly contract boxes direct from ITV Digital. I think if I was to put my toe back in the ITV Digital water, then a monthly contract is the only thing I would consider.
